My immigration experience started when I was only 17 years old, through and Exchange Student Program in the USA. After going back to my home country, Brazil, I realized I needed more. So, in 2013 I went to the USA again and worked and studied there for two years. After that, it was difficult to adjust back to my country and then an opportunity to come to Canada came up in 2016. I came to Canada to work as a Child Care Provider and after three years I got my Permanent Residence. I truly understand the struggles and anxiety that come with moving to a new country.
In Brazil, I studied to be an English as a Second Language teacher and acquired a Secretary Certificate. In Canada, I studied to become an Administrative Assistant and since then my job is to help organize and facilitate clients processes and applications.
